About the Course

MAH-MCA-CET is the State Level Entrance Test for admission to the MCA programs affiliated to the Maharashtra State Universities. This is followed by a Common Admission Process ( CAP ). Hence CET is the gateway to esteemed Top colleges like VJTI, SPIT, SPPU, PCCOE Vivekananda, SIES and many other colleges in Maharashtra. The Exam is usually conducted in the month of March. So, we can expect the exam to be in March 2027. Any changes for the MCA-CET 2027 exam and admission process is updated on the CET website and respective college’s website.

As per the 2026 pattern, MCA-CET is conducted Online. In the stipulated time of 90 mins, the candidates are expected to answer 100 questions of 2 mark each. There is no negative marking. The candidates have the advantage of switching from 1 section to another. The candidates have to select the correct answer from the 4 options provided. There are 4 sections in all.

Logical & Abstract Reasoning - 30
English Comprehension & Verbal Ability - 20
Computer Concepts – 20
